A great player, Paul's contemporary approach to playing the bass accompaniments to the soul classics of yesteryear have been heard on every STAX of SOUL gig since September 1993.

At the age of 15 Paul quickly started to carve out his musical career playing regular gigs with local bands and even starting to write his own material.  This quickly developed into doing quality session work and studio work which involved appearances on many TV shows such as Russell Harty, Top of the Pops, Good Morning with Richard and Judy and The James Whale Show.  Paul has also toured extensively throughout Europe and the Middle East performing on major tours with leading artistes such as Bucks Fizz, Don Mclean and the Boomtown Rats.

Paul's skills are constantly in demand, yet, just like the other members of STAX of SOUL, he remains 100% committed to Manchester's favourite band.
